To avoid blood-shed between Sindh and Balochistan, Kolachi was presented to Khanete of Qalat in exchange of blood of Khane Qalat,
who had fallen in the war betwen Balochs and Kalhoras, the then rulers of Sindh.
Kolachi (Karachi) was the bone of contention between Khanete of Qalat and East India Company, who had occupied Sindh from Mirs, the
Baloch rulers of Sindh. Khan of Qalat, Mir Mehrab Khan, did not backed
for his claim over Kolachi which resulted the abrupt attack of English-men on Qalat in which the fighting hero of Balochistan, Mir Mehrab Khan was martyred.
More Balochs were settled in Kolachi during British Raj, who worked in the Port, construction of buildings and in the industries of Kolachi during British Raj. The agricultural land belonged to both Baloch and Sindhis around Karachi. To-day, the land around Karachi belongs to Balochs
and Sindhis.
After Pakistan, the Urdu speaking people flooded in Karachi, followed
by Panjabis and Pashtuns. The genocide of Balochs, physically and economically began after the creation of Pakistan in 1947.
Panjabis refused Urdo speakers and Pashtuns to settle in Panjab but
during the 63 years, they encourged the people from foreign countries
and from other Provinces, to be settled in Kolachi with their intention to bring Balochs and Sindhis in minority.
Balochs and Sindhis of Kolachi were deprived from education and from
services. Even, Balochs and Sindhis were not allowed to work as labours
in the new established factories on Baloch land. Balochs were killed
as a business-man and the genocide of Balochs is not stoped untill now.

" The fate of Balochs in Balochistan shall be not different if out-siders
settle in the cities of Balochistan. The Police of non-baloch barbers,
shoe-makers, washer-men, labours and bureaucrats, shall target
kill the sons of the soil - Balochs and in their own home-land, Balochs
shall be unsecure and shall be the prey of out-siders. Even, the
off-springs of Sardars, Nawabs, takris and Ministers of to-day, shall
be the prey of target-killings by out-siders":
